We - Erika and Gerd - are “farsick” people from Berlin, Germany and enjoy life in the Caribbean as often as possible, when time and
money allow. During the last 12 years we have been visiting The Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, Montserrat, Dominica and San Andres y Providencia.
I never travel without my hamradio equipment, my XYL never without a few books. She is not a ham, but very tolerant and a great help in many ham affairs like erecting and adjusting my antennas, carrying equipment and
offering a few beers during the pileups. We always try to stay as far as possible from the big tourist fortresses and prefer small villages and enjoy to be with native friends. This time we have chosen “Big Sky Lodge”
in Crochu at the east coast of Grenada and “Snakepit” in L’Esterre on Carriacou Island. We are sure we will have a great time again. More about our earlier Caribbean trips on www.dl7vog.de.
