Simple receive and decode APT-signals from NOAA
weather satellite.How ?
Connect a 137-138 MHz receiver to the
soundcard of your PC , record the signal of the satellite as a
wave-file , use decode software and finally you have nice images.

, 137 MHz receiver with 40 kHz bandwidth Receiver
PC with a soundcard
, if possible with a serial port
Software to record the audio
of the satellite
Software to decode the audio
(as wave-file) into a image
Access to internet for downloading the software and the latest

active with APT (status on 01-jan-2008) :
NOAA-15 , transmit frequency is 137.5000 MHz
NOAA-17 , transmit frequency is 137.6200 MHz
NOAA-18 , transmit frequency is 137.1000 MHz
